Spring Break Kick-off

So we decided to head south for Spring Break this year and try out our new camping gear we got from our wedding shower. We decided to go to Snow Canyon to see some Lava Tubes and also visit the Red Cliffs to go on an awesome hike we found on the internet. All of these places are about 20 miles North of St. George.

Just as we were embarking on our trip, our hopes and dreams were smashed. The light turned green, we pulled out into the intersection to make a left turn. We waited for an oncoming car to pass us for it to be clear enough to turn when a Ford Escape came bulting through the red light, T-boning the car we were waiting for to pass us, pushing both cars into the front of us...

I'd explain it more but I'll let you see for yourself:

There are several things that made this crash a miracle.
First of all, about 2 weeks ago we drove to Vegas and didn't have our insurance card with us. We didn't want to make a long drive again without it and Cait was inspired to stick it in the glove box just before we left our house.
Second, Both of the other cars were totalled!
Third, No one involved was hurt.
We had 3 witnesses stay and fill out police reports and for which we were very grateful.
This was an awakening experience for us to realize how much our Heavenly Father loves us and we know he is watching out for us. And I am so grateful for a wife that is in tune with the spirit enough to listen and know to follow it. I love you Caitlyn!
