It's Finals!!!

It is that wonderful time of year where you spend all of your time with the things that you love
like your school books and emails between class mates trying to console each other
about the end of the semester deadlines and tests.

This is our make shift work area. David has set up the card table on one couch that has all of his work on it and that chair you see in front of the other couch that is where my laptop goes if it is not on my lap. You can just make out the stacks of papers and books that sit right next to me on the left of the couch.

Of course this is not our first rodeo, but can I tell you how much easier it is when your doing it with your bff right next to you. Like last night when I would say to David " I don't think I can go anymore" and he would reply back "yes you can!!!"

Try to guess my major with the books that seem to feel like they are devouring me.

This is Davids own beast to conquer of papers good thing I bought him a beast slaying sword for Hanukkah.

You just have to remember that next weekend it will be over even though it feels like it might never get there.

Disneyland!!!!

We went to Disneyland in October and it was soooooo fun!!!

We saw the new show called World of Color which was incredible it made the Balgio show look kind of terdy. Addy was really tired but she wanted to see it so bad.

I finally got to go to tune town and it was exaclty what everybody said it was kind of lame except for that 10 second roller coaster really amazing! We did get to meet Mickey though.

Addy is so stinking cute and little and fit right into one of the Disneyland bags.

Of course I had to make a wish at my well (snow whites well) and my wish came true, we had an absolute blast at disney!

Disney wouldn't be Disney without the fun hidden Mickeys on all the rides. Here is one special to october because it is on the nightmare before christmas ride at the haunted manchine.

David loved his tiger trimmed Mickey ears he wouldn't go anywhere without them.

Addy and David were pirates for the Mickey Trick or Treat which was the best night ever!!

I love my cute sisters who got right on into the spirit of Halloween and dressed up with me!

Josey did have an instance where a scare crow litterally scared the crap out of Josey, well not the crap part but the scare part.

Me and Dabid in our incredibles shirts. Everybody that day would say hey look the incredibles.

They have the most amazing carved pumkins you wouldn't even believe it. It was amazing!

They also had baby goats you could go and pet. Both me and David thought that this was one of our favorite parts of Disney!

David and I had a date night and splurged and went to the Blue Bayou. It was so good and we even found a hidden Mickey in our Creme brule, which was incredible.

My sister Bekah was able to come up for a day and go to Disney with us. I was so happy I miss her and her family very very much!

Cole and Hailey both got some good sweet treats that ended up on hands and faces!

My favorite was the last ride we went on the tower of terror. Bekah's face says it all!

Old People gotta love em!!

I know this seems like an odd post but I work at a bank and the area we are located at is more of a retired area but I love it because I will tell you one thing right now old people say what they want when they want and it is hilarious.
I just thought I would post some of my favorite elderly people quotes I have heard at the bank.

" I can get down I just can't get back up"

"My get up and go just got up and left"

" My a** is grass and your the lawn mower"

Costo with David

Costco has always been a chore for David but he learned that the shopping had to be done and that I really appreciated it when he came with me, so he tries to entertain himself along the way.

If I am walking and don't hear David follow behind I know that he is just trying to entertain himself in someway.
Like pretending to go to the bathroom in the middle of the store.

Or....Wearing a fur cape

I turned around just in time to see David like a nephite with a bear skin cape. This of course it just a typical visit to costco with David. I was just glad that I had my camera in my purse to capture it this time.
I got to admit David sure does make like fun!
I love him, I love him, I love him!

2 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two weeks is all we had between semesters. Both me and David took summer school and had only two weeks before fall semester started and we were not going to waste it!

My Brother in law Matt invited me and David to go to Lagoon with him and his family since my sister Mandy just had her 5th baby.

It was a sacrifice to go spend a day at Lagoon but you got to do what you can for family. We were so excited we could barely sleep the night before.

This is one of my favorite shots of David and the boys. Our favorite ride with them was definately the lady bug because Nathan would gritt his teeth every time the lady bug dropped it was hilarious.

The girls were right there along for anything and everything. Eliza was tall enough to go on the rides but sometimes they would say she needed a buster seat which was even better because then we got in the buster seat line which we were usually the first in line. Loved It!
It was an awesome day I love my fam!

That next morning we left to go to a couples retreat down in St. George with all of my girlfriends and their husbands from high school. It was a blast!!!!

Not to mention it was David and I's 1 year anniversary. I love him very much.

We went go carting and went and saw Tarzan at Tuacan. I just want to mention that David took first in go carts and I would have taken second but Harve cut me off. I won't get into it but it was ugly.

Of course the girls stayed up the last night and played I have never. Lets just say I learned a thing or two about my friends.

That next weekend we did the annual Cottrell Bear Lake trip. It was a lot of fun! This is my cute neice Berkley playing in the sand.

David and I decided to spend an extra night and we decided to invite Jocey because she is awsome and I was so happy when she said yes! We went and saw a movie on a huge outdoor screne and cuddled up in our sleeping bags.

We were able to get an awesome tip on a beautiful camping spot just a few miles away from Bear Lake. I am so greatful I married a man that can handle a tent and look good going it.

The beach was a lot of fun and not to mention the shakes that we get at the end courtasy of Papa Cottrell.

One of the customers at my work mentioned that he had a friend coming in town who just happened to be Dave Matthews and got us some tickets to his concert.

It was incredible. I have never scene him live but it was amazing!

He had these huge screens all over the stage. I saw a man play two sacksaphones at the same time.

We wenting shooting with Papa Cottrell and he let us test out the Judge the look on Davids face is all the explanation needed.

It was really fun watching them shoot off together. I love that I have a great father in law that lets his daugter in laws to the fun stuff too. Guns are the fun stuff fyi.

We ended the weekend on Sunday with a pasta dish that had my fresh herbs in it from my small but powerful herb garden.

can you say mmmm...........

I know life seems pretty hard for the Cottrell home. Well atleast for David he has me as a wife. Jk

Now these are just the moments with photo's we also had great bbq's with our friends like the Plehns and Tweeder (you know who you are). It was a great two weeks but it was only great do to our friends and family I love you all!!!

Soccer Time!!!!

David is an awesome banker and won us tickets to the Real game. I love soccer so I was super excited to go!

We went with our good friends Jose and Lexi who also won tickets at work. They were able to get us all jerseys so we could be ready for the game. It was a blast!

I believe this is right after Real scored their third goal which means we got free breakfast coupons. As you can see we get really into the games. This picture is sheer energy.
