Spring Break

We had a really greaT spring break. David and I both had the week off from WeFa. We were able to get a new car, try and new restraunt, see our friends, get messages, and got to a new Temple.

This is the African restraunt with our BFF's Lexer and Jose. The restraunt was cool because it was like the restraunt on the movie Along Came Polly where you eat with your hands. Defintitly a new experience and good!

We were planning on taking our bikes down and going ridding but the weather was bad so instead we went to the St. George temple. It was beautiful!

This is our new car Spike! He is an blue elantra. This was our first time filling him up, David wasn't sure what I was doing when I took the pic but I thought it should be comemorated.

The biggest reason we went down was to go to my big bro (friend) Addy's wedding

This is Joshy and Addy at the reception

I was also lucky enough to hang out with my BFF's Katie and Lauren who are awesome and I miss them dearly!

Me and Brazil at the wedding

I just have to be cheesy for a minute and say that it was really fun being with my friends that I have been through so much with and to watch our friends grow as each one gets married. I love my friend because they helped to make me the person I am today.

These Are a Few of My Favorite Things

So lately I have been able to have a lot of my favorite things here are just a few.

First and formost, my husband David. We had spring break last week and we both had a whole week to just relax together which was wonderful and he is wonderful.

I also like crafty inspirations. We recently got a kitchen table and while we were getting it from the ladies house I saw something similar to this on her wall. B Amazing, such a simple statement but it made me realize it is a choice to be amazing. You are not simple born that way you have to work for it and I really liked that.

FOOD!!! I know everybody loves food but I really like to try new food. During spring break we had the oppotunity to go to an African restraunt with our BFF's. It was so good!!!

Not many people know this, mostly because it is my theory more than a fact, but what your mom eats when you are in her tummy will most likely be one of your favorite things to eat in life. My mom could not get enough mangos, which, I feel, is why I love, love, LoVe them.

I also have another love and that is my rain boots. They go with every outfit, or more likely I wear them with every outfit. I love them because I can stomp in puddles, tromp through snow and sometimes they make me feel like superman. I love the boots!

Valentines

It was Valentines a month ago but I haven't blog about it so here it is.
I love Valentines because I know that David is going to suprize me!
That means that I have to be blind folded when being taken to the different testinations.

Our first stop was one of my very favorite restraunts PF Changs!!!

I love how well my husband knows me

He let me take a picture of his excited face before we went for desert and he made me put the blind fold tie back on.

We went to desert at yogurt stop which is soooooo good!

Then we went to a movie where he wouldn't even let me see the ticket before the show started.

The movie ended up being the delema which was very funny!

I love you David thank you for being an amazing husband and knowing me better than I know myself sometimes. My life is better because I have you!!! xoxo

The Holidays!

Christmas began and ended the same way...with Settlers of Catan. Don't all families play Settlers until 4am on Christmas?

That was okay though because that ment that David was snug in his bed when Santa came early that morning

It was so fun to see the neice and nephew run into the living room and see brand new bikes waiting for them from Santa. They stayed up long enough the night before to hear Ricky I mean Santa on the roof of the house.

Both me and Jessica wrote our Christmas list together which ment we both got our Miche bags!

We then went over to Matt and Mandy's for a Christmas brunch with the whole family

Including the Petersen's who we skyped all morning long. I missed them a lot!

Everybody thought it would be cool to dress up like their favorite person on Christmas!

Brynlee got really excited about it and decided to grow a mustache

We were so happy that Ricky and Corinne were able to come to spend Christmas with us. I love baby Athen he has grown so much but luckily he hasn't grown out of sucking on his binky sideways, which I love!

After all of the excitement it tired my two favorite men right out.

We were also able to spend time at the Cottrells where forgot to take any pictures in all of the excitement but I did get this special one of my princess Berkley

We then went back over to my parents where Abby got a new snow suit that made her look like a puffy pink eskimo

And then it all ended where it began with Settlers of Catan!

I hope all of your Holidays where as great as mine!

It's Finals!!!

It is that wonderful time of year where you spend all of your time with the things that you love
like your school books and emails between class mates trying to console each other
about the end of the semester deadlines and tests.

This is our make shift work area. David has set up the card table on one couch that has all of his work on it and that chair you see in front of the other couch that is where my laptop goes if it is not on my lap. You can just make out the stacks of papers and books that sit right next to me on the left of the couch.

Of course this is not our first rodeo, but can I tell you how much easier it is when your doing it with your bff right next to you. Like last night when I would say to David " I don't think I can go anymore" and he would reply back "yes you can!!!"

Try to guess my major with the books that seem to feel like they are devouring me.

This is Davids own beast to conquer of papers good thing I bought him a beast slaying sword for Hanukkah.

You just have to remember that next weekend it will be over even though it feels like it might never get there.

Disneyland!!!!

We went to Disneyland in October and it was soooooo fun!!!

We saw the new show called World of Color which was incredible it made the Balgio show look kind of terdy. Addy was really tired but she wanted to see it so bad.

I finally got to go to tune town and it was exaclty what everybody said it was kind of lame except for that 10 second roller coaster really amazing! We did get to meet Mickey though.

Addy is so stinking cute and little and fit right into one of the Disneyland bags.

Of course I had to make a wish at my well (snow whites well) and my wish came true, we had an absolute blast at disney!

Disney wouldn't be Disney without the fun hidden Mickeys on all the rides. Here is one special to october because it is on the nightmare before christmas ride at the haunted manchine.

David loved his tiger trimmed Mickey ears he wouldn't go anywhere without them.

Addy and David were pirates for the Mickey Trick or Treat which was the best night ever!!

I love my cute sisters who got right on into the spirit of Halloween and dressed up with me!

Josey did have an instance where a scare crow litterally scared the crap out of Josey, well not the crap part but the scare part.

Me and Dabid in our incredibles shirts. Everybody that day would say hey look the incredibles.

They have the most amazing carved pumkins you wouldn't even believe it. It was amazing!

They also had baby goats you could go and pet. Both me and David thought that this was one of our favorite parts of Disney!

David and I had a date night and splurged and went to the Blue Bayou. It was so good and we even found a hidden Mickey in our Creme brule, which was incredible.

My sister Bekah was able to come up for a day and go to Disney with us. I was so happy I miss her and her family very very much!

Cole and Hailey both got some good sweet treats that ended up on hands and faces!

My favorite was the last ride we went on the tower of terror. Bekah's face says it all!

Old People gotta love em!!

I know this seems like an odd post but I work at a bank and the area we are located at is more of a retired area but I love it because I will tell you one thing right now old people say what they want when they want and it is hilarious.
I just thought I would post some of my favorite elderly people quotes I have heard at the bank.

" I can get down I just can't get back up"

"My get up and go just got up and left"

" My a** is grass and your the lawn mower"
